Thanking a ‘True Angel’

Editor, The Commercial:

On Nov. 2, I was shopping at the Walmart Supercenter, and I was in a hurry because I had other places to go. When I got to the cashier, she rang up my items and I paid her and left.

When I arrived at my second destination and went to pay for my item, I could not find my wallet (I looked everywhere, but no wallet). I told the lady I would be back, but I had left my wallet at Walmart. I turned and headed back to Walmart, and I said a little prayer on the way back because I had my driver’s license, credit card and money that I needed. As I approached the parking lot (still praying that I would find my wallet), I drove to where I had parked before and checked all the baskets in the area and no wallet. I went inside and walked up to the person who had checked me out. That angel’s name was Debora Penermon. She was waiting on someone when I walked up.

She looked up at me and smiled. She called me by my first name and said I will be with you in just a minute (my first name was on the front of my wallet). At that time I knew she had found my wallet. I was so happy I wanted to give her a big hug. I had left my wallet at the check-out and she put it up for me. She said she knew I would be back.

You do not find this type of honesty very often. I truly thank you for your kindness. We need more people like you. Thank you again Debora Penermon. May God Bless you.
