Sabin Terry has joined the Pine Bluff Commercial full-time as a sports reporter.
Terry began his full-time duties Dec. 29, completing the three-man sports department staff of I.C. Murrell and Nicholas Sullivan. He primarily covers local high school and Arkansas-Monticello athletics.
Terry previously wrote as a stringer for The Commercial and the Saline Courier.
“My passion in life is sports, with my favorites being basketball and football,” Terry said.
Born in Searcy, Terry was raised in Lowell before moving to White Hall as a seventh-grader. He graduated from White Hall High in 2008 and earned a degree in mass communications (with a speech communications minor) from Arkansas-Little Rock in 2013. He wrote some stories for the UALR Forum student newspaper, but was not on staff.

An avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan, Terry also follows the UALR Trojans and the Miami Heat of the NBA. He enjoys video games, bowling and hanging with friends and family.
