Jefferson Regional Medical Center and Doctor’s Orders Pharmacy will hold a TB Skin Test Fair at the JRMC White Hall Health Complex, 1600 W. Holland, at White Hall.
TB skin tests will be offered to the public at Doctor’s Orders from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Aug. 13-15. The $15 fee will cover the cost of supplies, testing and record keeping, but administration and reading of the tests will be free.
Tests will be read and results given 48-72 hours after administration at the pharmacy.
Individuals with negative test results will be issued a health card reflecting the test result. Those with positive test results will be referred to their primary care physician or HealthCare Plus.
