Taylor to head county bar association

Zachary Taylor of the Brockman, Norton and Taylor Law firm was elected president of the Jefferson County Bar Association on Jan. 31, according to a news release from the association.

Taylor replaced former president Thomas Brown.

C. Mac Norton, also of Brockman, Norton and Taylor ,was elected vice-president, replacing Taylor, and Circuit Judge Rob Wyatt Jr. was elected secretary/treasurer.

Wyatt replaced John L. Rush, who had been secretary/treasurer of the association for more than 40 years.

The bar association has 90 members in Jefferson County.
