Synergy grant applications available
Applications are now available for the 2021 Synergy Forum Inc. Grants. Registered nonprofit organizations: IRS 501(c)(3) public charities, public schools, government agencies and the hospital in Jefferson County are eligible to apply, according to a news release.
Synergy Grants specifically fund projects that benefit residents in Jefferson County. Created in 1985, Synergy Forum is an independent organization of women providing small grants in the areas of the arts, education and social services.
Grants generally range from $500 to $1,500. Synergy’s funding comes only from the dues and contributions of members, according to the release.
Applications are due April 1. Applications will be accepted only by email. Details: synergyforumgrants@gmail.com.

Merrill High reunion to start June 17
The Merrill High School All School Reunion will be held June 17-19. All events will be held at the Pine Bluff Convention Center, according to a news release.

Saturday’s Talent Hunt Show put off
Because of weather conditions, the Seark Concert Association is postponing the Talent Hunt Show on Saturday so everyone can stay safe and warm, according to a news release.
The association will be holding auditions in Ashley County again later in the spring and will announce the rescheduled show.
