Synergy Forum accepting fall grant applications

Synergy Forum Inc. is accepting fall 2016 grant applications from non-profit organizations in Jefferson County. Grants generally range from $500 to $1,500.

Grants are awarded in April and October. Registered non-profit organizations: IRS 501(c )(3) public charities, public schools, government agencies, and Jefferson Regional Medical Center are eligible to apply for grants for funding projects to benefit the residents of Jefferson County. Political campaigns and capital campaigns are not funded.

Synergy Forum is in its 31st year of monetary grant assistance.

“Created in 1985, it is an independent organization of women providing financial grants for Jefferson County non-profit organizations to make a difference in the areas of the arts, education and social services,” a spokesman said.
