A suspect has been named in the death of a 36-year-old man on Friday, according to the Pine Bluff Police Department.
Police are searching for Michael King Jr., 37, who was described by police as a 5-foot 9-inch Black male, weighing 200 pounds and possibly driving a red 2025 Hyundai Sonata with an Arkansas license plate of 891TWJ.
King is wanted in connection with a charge of capital murder relating to the shooting death of Markee Avery, who was found dead at 1212 S. Spruce St. about 3:20 p.m. on Friday.
King should not be approached because he is considered armed and dangerous, police said.
