Southern Arkansas University at Magnolia has awarded scholarships for the 2012-2013 academic year to the following area students:
• Ragan Cash of Rison, a senior at James Madison High School, was awarded the Achievement scholarship. This scholarship includes $1,000 per semester and has a four year value of $8,000. Ragan is the daughter of Mark and Shannan Cash.
• Bryan Terry Jr. of Pine Bluff, a senior at Pine Bluff High School, was awarded the Achievement scholarship. This scholarship includes $1,000 per semester and has a four year value of $8,000. Bryan is the son of Bryan Terry.
• Lauren Morehead of Pine Bluff, a senior at Ridgway Christian High School, was awarded the Presidential scholarship. This scholarship includes $5,500 per semester and has a four year value of $44,000. Lauren is the daughter of David and Kaleybra Morehead.
• Ehvan Shaw of Pine Bluff, a senior at Ridgway Christian High School, was awarded the Valedictorian/Salutatorian scholarship. This scholarship includes $2,550 per semester and has a four year value of $20,400. Ehvan is the son of Stoney Shaw.

• Crystal Holt of Rison, a senior at Rison High School, was awarded the Achievement scholarship. This scholarship includes $1,000 per semester and has a four year value of $8,000. Crystal is the daughter of Rhonda and Kelley Holt.
• Keifer Hooks of Rison, a senior at Rison High School, was awarded the Blue and Gold scholarship. This scholarship includes $2,550 per semester and has a four year value of $20,400. Keifer is the son of Keith and Kim Hooks.
• Jaymie Langford of Rison, a senior at Rison High School, was awarded the Mulerider Success scholarship. This scholarship includes $1,200 per semester and has a four year value of $9,600. Jaymie is the daughter of Jodi Langford.
• Madeleine Rhodes of Rison, a senior at Rison High School, was awarded the University scholarship. This scholarship includes $4,500 per semester and has a four year value of $36,000. Madeleine is the daughter of Boyd and Dianna Rhodes.
