Strachota Senior Center activity, lunch schedule

Exercise equipment at the Strachota Senior Center is for seniors ages 55 and up, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. The exercise schedule for the upcoming week is as follows:

Monday

9 a.m. beginning aerobics

10 a.m. exercise

11 a.m. aerobics

11:45 a.m. lunch

Tuesday

10 a.m. move with balance

11 a.m. paint class

11:30 a.m. site council

11:45 a.m. lunch

Wednesday

9 a.m. beginning aerobics

10 a.m. exercise

11 a.m. aerobics

11:45 a.m. lunch

Thursday

10 a.m. move with balance

11 a.m. beanbag baseball

11:45 a.m. lunch

Friday

9 a.m. beginning aerobics

10 a.m. exercise

11 a.m. aerobics

11:45 a.m. lunch

Also on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., there will be live entertainment, and from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., tours of the center will be offered. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served for lunch.

The following is the Strachota Senior Center lunch menu for the week.

Monday

Meatballs with gravy, parsley rice, green beans, wheat bread, oatmeal cookie and milk

Tuesday

Chicken nuggets, corn, country tomatoes, roll, chocolate cake and milk

Wednesday

Turkey, tetrazzini cabbage, purple hull peas, wheat bread, fresh fruit and milk

Thursday

Chicken and sausage jambalaya, northern beans, mixed greens, cornbread, banana pudding and milk

Friday

Home-delivered clients: Pineapple-glazed ham, Delmonico potatoes, carrots, orange fruited gelatin, wheat bread and milk
