The annual Stars in the Park began shining Dec. 5 at White Hall City Park. The event is sponsored by the White Hall Chamber of Commerce. There are 151 three-foot lighted trees, with a loved one’s name on top, spread out across City Park, said Jeff May, White Hall deputy mayor and Chamber Board member. It’s a way for families and friends to remember their loved ones during the Christmas season. (Special to The Commercial)
