Cane Creek State Park hosted the annual Stardaze 5K run/walk with 75 attendees. While some were there to watch, 52 were runners. The event also included a 10K run/walk and a one-mile fun run.
Leah Williams and Tyler Woods were the winners of their respective adult 5K divisions. Justin Rudder and Allie Grayson won the 5K for their respective youth divisions. In the 10K, David Brown and Brandy Files won their respective adult divisions. Gracie Muckleroy and Jaden Sherrill won the fun run for youth female and male, respectively.
During the fun run, participants were very competitive, with the fastest time being about eight minutes and the slowest at 14 minutes.
