St. Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 4508 S. Main St., will host “Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia” at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11. The community is invited to the education program presented by the Alzheimer’s Association.
“Alzheimer’s is not normal aging,” according to a news release. “It’s a disease of the brain that causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior.”
