The new splash pad at Saracen Landing will display a holiday light show from 6-9 p.m. through Christmas.
Pine Bluff Parks and Recreation Department Director April Layher turned on the display Monday. The splash pad was completed in November and will open Memorial Day weekend 2015. The splash pad consists of jets of water that shoot vertically. They are controlled by a computer program that creates various patterns. The $678,000 project came from money that Pine Bluff voters approved along with a five-eighth cent sales tax at a public referendum in February 2011. (Pine Bluff Commercial/David Hutter)
