The Academic Achievement scholarship from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock was recently awarded to these students:
• Audrey Driskill and Julia Culpepper, both of Sheridan, Sheridan High School graduates;
• Zaire Rose of Pine Bluff, a Dollarway High School graduate;
• Taylor Jaggers of Rison, a Rison High School graduate;
• Bethany Hoover of Rison, a Woodlawn High School graduate;

• Morgan Topping of Pine Bluff, a Ridgway Christian High School graduate;
• Emily Fendley of Monticello, an Arkansas School for Math, Science and the Arts graduate.
The scholarship is worth a total of $16,000 for four years if renewal requirements are met. It is given to entering freshmen who earned a score of 24 or above on the ACT and at least a 3.0 cumulative high school grade point average.
