The Department of Arkansas Heritage will host a panel and grant workshop on small museum management and resources from 2-4 p.m. Friday, March 9, at the Diamond Room of the department at Little Rock.
The workshop will cover DAH’s new small museum grant application process. Grants of up to $2,500 are available to Arkansas’ small history museums, historical societies, historic sites and military museums that have an annual operating budget of $250,000 or less.

The workshop will be led by DAH Grants Manager Debra Fithen, who will review grant guidelines and the new online application process.
A panel of DAH division directors will share their experience and expertise regarding museum and historical resource management issues.
