LITTLE ROCK — Authorities arrested six people in northern Arkansas on drug charges Monday in an investigation into methamphetamine and cocaine trafficking, the federal prosecutor’s office announced.
Four men and one woman were arrested in Batesville, and one man was taken into custody at Berryville, U.S. Attorney Chris Thyer said.
Authorities searched three homes in Batesville and another in Bradford in what Thyer said is an ongoing probe involving the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, North Little Rock police, Independence County sheriff’s office, Arkansas state police and several local drug task forces.
Arrested in Batesville were:
—Jorge Rojas Olivera, 27, charged with possession with intent to deliver 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

—Steve Marroquin, 50, charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
—Jose A. Villareal, 23, charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.
—Maynor Efren Bravo-Fuentes, 46, charged with possession with intent to deliver 50 grams or more of cocaine.
—Juana Patricia Bamac-Perez, 32, charged with possession with intent to deliver and conspiracy to possess 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.
Eddy Boche, 25, was arrested in Berryville and charged with possession with intent to deliver 50 grams or more of methamphetamine and conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.
