Central Arkansas Development Council’s Single Parent Scholarship Fund is accepting applications in Dallas County.
Full-time students may receive $500 per semester. Part-time students may receive $250 per semester. Potential applicants must return a completed application, three letters of recommendation, a current transcript of all completed courses and a goal statement. Applicants must be at 125 percent of the federal poverty level, which for a family of two is $1615.63 monthly; have custodial care of a child under the age of 18; be enrolled in an undergraduate course of study, with the exception of candidates for the Master of Arts in Teaching degree; and maintain a 2.5 GPA. Additional guidelines also apply.
