A gospel singing fundraiser will be held for Robert Morgan of Star City at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at Dave’s Fireworks building, 9410 U.S. 270 at White Hall.
Morgan was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in mid April and hasn’t been able to work since then, according to a family spokesman. Any donations will be given to the family.
During the fundraiser, featured singers will include the Hacketts from Dermott, Bobby Cox, Liberty Chapel Singers, Claudia Clark and others. There will also be an auction.
The singing will be indoors, however participants are asked to bring their lawn chairs.
