Arkansas Secretary of State John Thurston’s mobile office will visit McGehee City Hall from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, March, 14.
The mobile office have materials and information regarding the agencies within the Secretary of State’s office. A staffer will answer questions about the office’s Elections Division, Business and Commercial Services Division, and Education Division, according to a news release.
“Mobile Offices are about bringing services of the Arkansas Secretary of State to rural areas of the state,” Thurston said. “A lot of folks may want information about becoming a Notary Public, starting a business, or visiting the state Capitol, but don’t know who to call or how to get started. The mobile offices solve that by bringing staff to counties and inviting people to come, talk to our staff, and get connected to services.”
Anyone may visit during the mobile office time and ask questions.
