Prison officials are continuing their search for Timothy Buffington, who escaped from the Pine Bluff Unit on June 21.
At the time of his escape, Buffington was serving a 20-year sentence for first-degree murder and had been in prison since 1999.
He is a white male, 47 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 182 pounds. According to the Department of Corrections website, he has a scar on his abdomen and back upper left arm and a tattoo on his right wrist.
Buffington should be considered armed and dangerous. The last time he was seen, he had a loaded shotgun that he took from the home of a prison employee.
