Southern Arkansas University at Magnolia has announced several scholarship recipients from Southeast Arkansas for the 2016-2017 academic year:
• Seth Crouse of Rison High School will receive the Blue and Gold Scholarship, which includes $3,300 per semester. Crouse is the son of Angelia Crouse and Terry Crouse.
• Griffin Smith of Monticello High School will receive the University Scholarship, which includes $4,500 per semester. Smith is the son of Gaybie Smith and Larry Smith.
• Joshua Spencer of Monticello and Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts High School, will receive the University Scholarship, worth $4,500 per semester. Spencer is the son of Mark and Rebecca Spencer.
• Samantha Satterlee of Warren High School will receive the University Scholarship, worth $4,500 per semester. Satterlee is the daughter of Shane and Renee Satterlee.

• Amy Vallery of Watson Chapel High School will receive the University Scholarship, worth $4,500 per semester. Vallery is the daughter of Beverly Vallery.
• Savannah Klais of Leola and Ouachita High School will receive the Blue and Gold Scholarship, which includes $3,300 per semester. Klais is the daughter of Todd Klais.
• Mary Brice of Warren High School will to receive the University Scholarship, which includes $4,500 per semester. Brice is the daughter of Rhonda Warnack.
