To encourage more schools to make breakfast part of the school day, the application deadline for the Arkansas School Breakfast Challenge was extended to May 1.
The program offers new grants and incentives to help schools adopt Breakfast-After-the-Bell programs. The Arkansas No Kid Hungry campaign and Midwest Dairy Council announced the new deadline recently.
