SAU announces 2018-2019 scholarship recipients

Southern Arkansas University at Magnolia recently announced scholarship recipients for the 2018-2019 academic year, including several from Southeast Arkansas.

Hannah Bond of Rison will receive the Blue and Gold Scholarship, which has a four-year value of $26,400 and includes $3,300 per semester. Bond is the daughter of Mike and Gina Bond and is a recent Rison High School High School graduate.

Peyton Anderson of Rison will receive the Achievement Scholarship, which has a four-year value of $8,000 and includes $1,000 per semester. Anderson is the daughter of Leslie Cope and is a recent Rison High School graduate.

Estacheana Davis of Pine Bluff will receive the Achievement Scholarship, which has a four-year value of $8,000 and includes $1,000 per semester. Davis is the daughter of Charonda Rushing and is a recent Watson Chapel High School graduate.

Elizabeth Antionette Garcia of Monticello will receive the University Scholarship, which has a four-year value of $36,000 and includes $4,500 per semester. Garcia is the daughter of Barbara Denise Garcia and Carlos Antonio Garcia and is a recent Monticello High School graduate.

Kori Davenport of Grapevine will receive the Presidential Scholarship, which has a four-year value of $44,000 and includes $5,500 per semester. Davenport is the daughter of James and Amanda Davenport and is a recent Sheridan High School graduate.

Curt Smead of Leola will receive the Presidential Scholarship, which has a four-year value of $44,000 and includes $5,500 per semester. Smead is the son of Donis Smead and Missy Smead and is a recent Sheridan High School graduate.

Dillon Cullins of Star City will receive the Achievement Scholarship, which has a four-year value of $8,000 and includes $1,000 per semester. Cullins is the son of Vonda Cullins and is a recent Star City High School graduate.

Claudia Barnett of Sheridan will receive the Achievement Scholarship, which has a four-year value of $8,000 and includes $1,000 per semester. Barnett is the daughter of Kristi Pruitt and Michael Pruitt and is a recent Sheridan High School graduate.
