Saracen Landing recently began a bicycle repair station after receiving a grant from Pia Woods, staff chair of the Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Service.
The grant was funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), according to a news release from the Pine Bluff Parks and Recreation Department.
The bicycle repair station is located across from the Saracen Landing Pavilion under the covered parking. The bicycle racks from a previous grant are installed at the Saracen Landing walking trail. There are also bicycle racks at the Golden Lion Pavilion on the north side, according to a news release.
