The Howl-o-ween costume contest for people and pets has been canceled at Saracen Landing Saturday, Oct. 31, because of the imminent weather forecast.
“The Parks and Recreation department wanted to host a fun afternoon for trick or treaters and their pets,” a spokesman said. “Unfortunately, the impending rain and wind for Saturday on the pavilion has caused concern and therefore the event has been canceled.”
