OPINION | LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Sanders’ silly acts

Karl Hansen

Editor, The Commercial,

We have seen the State Supreme Court recently condone the ignoring of our constitution by their political cohort in the Legislature.

We just heard our new Empress proclaim that factual history could not be taught that doesn’t conform to her and the other Pharisees in the legislature’s preferred version of it.

Empress Sarah, with an executive decree, just limited the language permitted to be used to express anything in OUR governance by OUR paid servants, to what she considers to be not “woke.”

Citizens, I’m convinced that we now stand in dire need of a constitutional amendment removing the right of a governor to issue executive orders. She has abused it and US as subjects. It needs to forbid rushed legislation and require publication for 90 days of any omnibus bill of any sort brought forth.

We have put this abominable administration in command due to the better candidate being born Black and having a far superior education than her. We’re not very far from the 50s and 60s in morals and politics.

As Dr. King wrote from the jail in Birmingham, it’s the folks who remain silent in the face of evil who make its forces advance to the detriment of right and decent governance. Christianity has no part in this — it’s POWER POLITICS!

Karl Hansen,

Hensley
