The AR Rollin Lions RV Club Outreach Inc. has partnered with Neighbor to Neighbor to sponsor a food drive from 8 to 11 a.m. Nov. 17 at the RV parking area at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
All non-perishable food will be given to Neighbor to Neighbor. The agency provides more than 3,600 hot meals per month and boxed meals to 600 senior citizens monthly, according to Charlotte England, director of Neighbor to Neighbor.
The RV club and AR Rollin Lions Scholarship/Mentoring Outreach Inc. are non-profit organizations, RV club President S. Sarge Boson said in a news release.
The RV club serves as goodwill ambassadors and boosters for the UAPB athletic department and the other group provides scholarships and mentoring for eligible students.
