The 63rd Annual Rural Life Conference will be Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center, One Convention Center Plaza, in Pine Bluff. The conference begins with registration at 7:30 a.m.; the opening session is at 8:45 a.m. The conference theme is “Working Together to Strengthen Farmers, Families and Communities,” according to a news release.
Sponsored by the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff School of Agriculture, Fisheries and Human Sciences, this year’s conference features several workshops, a poster session highlighting research projects and exhibits by governmental and community agencies.
Registration is requested of everyone even though the conference is free to producers, homemakers and retirees. Early-bird registration for professionals and agency personnel is $50; $75 after Jan. 14.
