LITTLE ROCK — Former U.S. Rep. Mike Ross reported Monday that his gubernatorial campaign has raised nearly $2 million since he announced his candidacy in April.
Ross, a Democrat from Prescott, had $1.7 million in his campaign coffers at the end of June.
Ross reported spending $269,885 between April 1 and the end of June.
Former Lt. Gov. Bill Halter, a Democrat from North Little Rock, reported that his gubernatorial campaign raised $92,900 and spending $91,896 during the same period. His campaign had $837,046 in cash on hand at the end June.
Monday was the official deadline for all state candidates in the 2014 general election to file second-quarter campaign expense reports for the period ended June 30, according to the secretary of state’s office.

Little Rock businessman Curtis Coleman, who is seeking the Republican nomination for governor, reported raising $101,714 during the quarter. That amount includes a $25,000 loan he gave his campaign. He spent $154,885 during the quarter, leaving him with $16,747 on hand.
State Rep. Debra Hobbs of Rogers, who also is seeking the Republican nomination, reported $7,125 in her campaign coffers.
Hobbs, who announced her candidacy in mid-June, reported that she rolled $9,621 over from her state House campaign and spent $2,500 during the quarter.
A report was not available for former U.S. Rep. Asa Hutchinson by 5 p.m. Monday. Hutchinson, a former U.S. representative and deputy director of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, is also seeking the Republican nomination.
Term limits prohibit Gov. Mike Beebe, a Democrat, from seeking re-election.
