Ridgway JH ends season with win

The Ridgway Christian Eagles junior high football team ended its season in a winning fashion Tuesday against Southwest Christian Academy.

The Eagles defeated Southwest Christian, 32-14, and Ridgway Christian head coach Trent Young said he was very proud of his young guys.

Baker Rodgers was outstanding all season, and he capped off the year with another big game for Ridgway (4-2). Rodgers carried the ball three times for 114 yards, he scored two touchdowns, and on defense, he accounted for eight tackles.

A.J. Tate added to the running game production as he gained 78 yards on 10 carries and recorded a touchdown. Tristan Evatt took most of the snaps at quarterback and he went 4 for 4 passing for 45 yards and a touchdown
