Ridgway Christian rallied from a set down to defeat Cornerstone Christian in a thrilling five-set win at home on Thursday.
Final game scores were; 22-25, 25-21, 25-16, 22-25 and 15-10.
Allison Carpenter and Chandra Wiley led Ridgway (3-4, 3-2 in Arkansas Association of Christian Schools) with seven kills apiece. Peyton Aulds and Megan Quarles each had five aces, while Brook Cummings totaled five assists.
Also on Thursday, the Ridgway junior high team won its first match in three sets. After dropping the first set 25-22, the Eagles bounced back with 25-23 and 15-13 set victories.
Emily Blue finished with 10 aces and Havana Santis had three kills to lead Ridgway (1-5, 1-3).
