Rhinehart to give First Baptist book review

Barbara Rhinehart, a community leader at Pine Bluff, will present a review of The Magnolia Story by Chip and Joanna Gaines from the television program, Fixer Upper.

The book review will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, in the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church, 6501 Hazel St.

Rhinehart, a retired educator, was born in Oak Park, Ill., and graduated from East Aurora High School. She has undergraduate and graduate degrees from Perdue University and is well-known in Pine Bluff and Jefferson County for her numerous civic, community and church activities.

On HGTV’s Fixer Upper, Joanna Gaines is the designer and Chip Gaines handles construction. The husband and wife team of Chip and Joanna Gaines are founders of Magnolia Homes, Magnolia Market and Magnolia Reality in Waco, Texas, according to a news release.

“The Magnolia Story is a well written book of laughter, inspiration and is an in-depth look at why fans have given over 4, 302 five star rating to the book while thoroughly enjoying reading about the private lives of a Christian couple and their children working together to achieve their goals,” according to the release.

The public is invited to attend the free review. Door prizes and refreshments will be provided after the review.
