Jefferson County Circuit Clerk Flora Cook-Bishop endorsed Connie Compton for the circuit clerk position in the March 3 election.
“With the future in mind, I am proud to offer my personal endorsement of Connie Compton, a life-long resident of Jefferson County, to serve as Jefferson County’s next circuit clerk,” Cook-Bishop said in a news release.
“Connie is well qualified and experienced with the court and the daily responsibilities of this office. She exemplifies integrity, strong leadership, and a deep commitment to fairness and efficiency, and she brings an extensive background in government and public service,” Cook-Bishop said. “I believe Connie’s proven judgment, fiscal responsibility, and dedication to accessibility and customer care make her the right choice to lead this office forward, ensuring continuity of trusted service for our citizens.”
Compton has 25 years of legal experience and is certified by the National Center for State Courts as a certified court manager.
