A retirement celebration for Pine Bluff Police Chief Ivan Whitfield is set for 5 p.m. Friday at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
Whitfield, who has been with the department for 35 years will officially retire Feb. 28. The theme for the celebration will be “Challenging the Past: Changing the Future.”
Also, a fellowship and worship service is scheduled for Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at Pine Hill Baptist Church at 2101 Reeker St.
