Resurfacing a section of U.S. 63B will require lane closures beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, July 18, according to the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department.
This work will begin at the Interstate 530 interchange and proceed down from there. Work will be conducted between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. through Thursday, July 21, weather permitting.
The outside north and southbound lanes of U.S. 63B from the I-530 and Bayou Bartholomew Bridge interchange will be closed as they are resurfaced.
Sections also include the outside southbound lane of U.S. 63B from 39th Avenue to 46th Avenue and outside northbound lane of U.S. 63B from Harding Avenue to the post office at Eighth Avenue and Main Street.
Traffic will be controlled using advance warning signs and traffic drums.
