Repairs require lane closure on U.S. 82 bridge

Repairs conducted by the Mississippi Department of Transportation on the U.S. 82 Mississippi River Bridge between Lake Village and Greenville have led to closing one lane, the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department said.

The outside eastbound lane will be closed across the main span of the bridge and impact to traffic is expected to be minimal. The closure is expected to continue until the end of the year.

Traffic will be controlled using traffic cones and advance warning signs. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
