The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) regular assistance ends Wednesday, July 15, at the Pine Bluff-Jefferson County Economic Opportunities Commission, 817 S. Cherry St.
The crisis portion of LIHEAP will continue until funds are depleted. Applicants must meet income guidelines and furnish proof of all household income for the month before they apply.
LIHEAP is offered at EOC offices in Jefferson, Grant, Cleveland, Arkansas and Lincoln counties. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served walk-in basis, Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. until noon, or the first 50 applicants. Details: EOC, 536-0046.
