The American Red Cross encourages all eligible blood donors to make an appointment to donate blood soon to help prevent a shortage. Vacations and summer activities are among the reasons regular donors may not find the time to give, however the need is constant.
Blood donations may be given at the following:
Dallas County
Aug. 12 from 12:30 – 5:30 p.m. at Dallas County Medical Center, Fordyce.
Drew County

Jefferson County
Aug. 4 from 1 – 5 p.m. at American Red Cross Blood Center, 1610 W. 42nd Ave., Pine Bluff.
