A recount in the race for District 3 justice of the peace is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Jefferson County Election Commission headquarters, 123 S. Main St.
According to unofficial totals following Tuesday’s preferential primary, incumbent Reginald Johnson defeated Joseph J. O’Neal 260-256.
