Jefferson County Reading Council will present awards at 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at Fiesta Mexicana restaurant.
First United Methodist Church of Pine Bluff will be honored with the Literacy Award for an agency. The Community Literacy Leader Award will be presented to Alicia Baldwin for her volunteer work at Moody Elementary School at White Hall.
All members and honorees are invited to attend. The council will provide drinks, chips, and salsa.
