New officers for the 2025-2026 year of the Jefferson County Reading Council are Gretchen Zell, left, secretary; Roxanne Harper, president; Elizabeth Wall, membership director; and Susan Bitely, treasurer. Officers displayed books to be donated to the Jefferson County Health Department. Books were obtained with a grant from the Arkansas Literacy Association. Jordan Harper, owner and pharmacist of the Daily Dose in White Hall, also donated books with stuffed toys.
