The Progressive Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association met recently at the Pine Bluff National Bank White Hall branch for its monthly meeting.
Linda Eifling, president, conducted the business session. Plans were finalized for the chapter’s Christmas Party, which was held Dec. 16 at the White Hall City Hall. A bountiful meal was planned. Linda Hurd volunteered to bring a spiral ham, and Floretta Scott volunteered to bring a fried turkey with other members bringing a dish.
Everyone was asked to bring a present for the “Dirty Santa” game. The chapter voted to give a needy family a $200 Walmart gift card for Christmas to be used for food and clothes for the family. The chapter also decided on a date to see the Christmas lights in Pine Bluff and White Hall.
The dollar pot was won by Jan Adam. Bette Taylor and Margie Murphy won door prizes.
Bridgett Williams-Pinkins, owner of Watson Chapel Dollar Store, was a guest at the meeting.
December is the birthday month of Ann Douthit.
