The 146th annual session of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge and the 133nd annual session of the Royal Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Arkansas Jurisdiction, will begin Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Prince Hall Masonic Temple, 2906 E. Harding Ave.
Activities will include a memorial service at 7 p.m. Thursday in the banquet hall. The service is open to the public.
Friday, Feb. 23, the Grand Chapter and Grand Lodge opens at 8:30 a.m. The annual C.N. Toney Trustee Banquet will be at 7 p.m. and is open to the public. Tickets are $30 each.
Saturday, Feb. 24, the Grand Chapter and Grand Lodge reconvene at 8:45 a.m. The annual Gala Affair, “A Hawaiian Luau, will be at 6:30 p.m. featuring dinner and entertainment. Tickets are $15 each and the event is open to the public.
The Most Worshipful Grand Master Cleveland K. Wilson of Hamburg and the Grand Worthy Matron Flora J. Simon of Dumas will preside at the sessions. They are expecting a number of guests from other states who will include grand masters, grand matrons, and other officers of their grand lodge and grand chapter.
