The Prince Hall Masonic Temple, 2906 E. Harding Ave., will host the 145th annual session of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge and the 132nd annual session of the Royal Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Arkansas Jurisdiction.
Thursday, Feb. 23, Grand session activities will include a memorial service at 7 p.m. in the banquet hall. The service is open to the public. The speaker will be Sherman McKenzie of District 7 South.
Friday, Feb. 24, at 8:30 a.m. the Grand Chapter and Grand Lodge open. The annual C. N. Toney Trustee Banquet will be at 7 p.m. and is open to the public. Tickets are $30 per person.
Saturday, Feb. 25, the Grand Chapter and Grand Lodge reconvenes at 9 a.m. The annual gala affair, “A Night in Hollywood,” will be at 6:30 p.m. The colors are royal blue and silver the attire is semi-formal. Tickets are $15 per person and the event is open to the public.
The Most Worshipful Grand Master Cleveland K. Wilson of Hamburg and the Grand Worthy Matron Flora J. Simon of Dumas will preside over the sessions. They are expecting about 100 guests from other states, including Grand Masters, Grand Matrons, and other officers of their lodges and chapters.
