Charron Patillo-Morehead sells fireworks to youngsters at ACJ Fireworks on North Birch Street on Independence Day. Patillo-Morehead, along with LaJoyce Patillo-Banks and B. Banita Patillo-McKnight, have operated the fireworks stand at least one week before Independence Day for each of the past 35 years. Patillo-Morehead said business has been very good this season.
