Southeast Arkansas College guard Tobias Prall was named NJCAA Division II Player of the Week for the week ending Monday.
Prall’s statistics from three games Dec. 9-14 were tallied in the announcement of his award. He averaged 26.7 points and made 20 of 36 3-point baskets (55.6%) while shooting 27 for 48 (56.3%) during that span. For the season, Prall, a 6-foot-2 sophomore from Trenton, N.J., averages 18.5 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists per game while shooting 48.1% from the floor and 45.9% from 3-point range.
SEARK (10-2, 3-1 Region 2) entered the NJCAA Division II poll for the first time this week, coming off a 69-68 victory over Division I Coahoma Community College of Mississippi. The Sharks will return to action Jan. 6 at home against Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas.
