Patrolman Brent Bridges said a westbound leased 2011 Ford F350 truck believed driven by Christopher L. Yelton, 51, of 312 Mill Ave., Redfield, struck a traffic signal pole on U.S. 270 near the Interstate 530 southbound off-ramp.
The truck was observed on the nearby commuter parking lot with a flat tire on the right rear and damage to the right side, according to accident report prepared by Bridges. Several unsuccessful attempts were made to contact Yelton to obtain a statement.

Virginia Mae Conley, 33, of 734 NCTR Road, Redfield, was arrested by a Pine Bluff police officer on a warrant from White Hall authorities for failure to comply with a bond. She was booked into the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center.

Robert James Bowman of 1501 Neeley St., Benton, told Robert Rogers he was in the sleeper unit of his 2000 Kenworth tractor-trailer truck parked at Big Red Travel Plaza, 8110 Sheridan Road, when the right side window was shattered.

A 2003 Ford driven by Blayne Philbrook of 3510 Whippoorwill Cove, Pine Bluff, backed into a 2008 Toyota driven by Sandra Price of 20600 Cole Lane, Hensley, in the drive-through lane at McDonald’s, 8012 Sheridan Road, Patrolman Stephen Moreau wrote in a report.

A 2009 Toyota Avalon driven by Earl Reaves of 2701 Jamestown Drive, Pine Bluff, backed from a parking space on the McDonald’s parking lot, 8012 Sheridan Road, and struck a 2012 Toyota Avalon driven by Christopher Gatlin, 2922 Hardin Reed Road, White Hall, stopped for traffic in the drive-through lane, Patrolman Brent Bridges wrote in a report.

Patrolman Brian Hornsby was on patrol when he observed a fire in woods beside the Joey Lybrand home, 1712 Barney Lane. Six firemen responded to the alarm and extinguished the blaze.
