Police asks for help in 3-year-old homicide case

Pine Bluff Police are asking for the public’s help in solving a homicide still under investigation three years later.

Officers were dispatched to 3501 S. Virginia St. on Aug. 24, 2022, and located Jordan Shaw, 24, lying outside the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to police. Shaw was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives also located a vehicle and residence that, police say, had been struck several times by gunfire.

No suspect has yet been identified despite “extensive investigative efforts,” police say.

“The Pine Bluff Police Department continues to actively investigate this case and urges anyone with information – no matter how small it may seem – to come forward,” a news release reads.

A cash reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and/or conviction of the person(s) responsible for the crime. Anyone with information but wishing to remain anonymous may call the Pine Bluff Police Department tip line at (870) 730-2106 or submit a confidential online tip at www.pbpd.org/crime-tips.

“Your assistance could help bring justice for Jordan Shaw and closure to his family,” according to the release.
