The Pine Bluff VFW Post 4455, 1600 E. Harding Ave., will host a POW/MIA Recognition Day ceremony at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20.
Col. Luis A. Ortiz, commander of the Pine Bluff Arsenal will be the guest speaker and the public is invited to attend, according to a news release.
“The POW/MIA Recognition Day honors the commitments and the sacrifices made by our nation’s prisoners of war and those who are still missing in action,” according to the release.
