The community is invited to the Complete Count Committee Kickoff in preparation for the 2020 U.S. Census.
The event will be held from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
“What is a complete count committee? The Pine Bluff Community to work together to increase awareness and motivate residents to participate in the 2020 Census,” according to a news release.
Community organizations, students, teachers, businesses, faith-based groups and all residents are invited to attend.
“The Census helps Pine Bluff receive its fair share of state and federal funding,” according to the release. “A complete Census county is critical for government programs, policies and decision making. The Census ensures that Pine Bluff is appropriately represented in the state legislature and Congress.”
